Recovery net
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
1. Field of the Invention
The present invention relates to a recoverydevice, and more particularly to a recovery net tofacilitate recovery.
2. Description of the Prior Arts
Recovery devices are used to retrieve corpses fromwater and include recovery rings. A recovery ring has atelescopic rod connected to a ring. In recovery work, therod is adjusted to a suitable length and the ring is used tosupport and pull a corpse nearer. Then, recoverers enter thewater and place a floating stretcher under the corpse forlifting onto a boat.
Since the corpse may have been immersed in waterfor long and the corpse may be fragile and swollen, so thering may break up the corpse so hindering recovery efforts.Besides, entering the water during bad weather with roughseas is dangerous.
To overcome the shortcomings, the presentinvention provides a recovery net to mitigate or obviate theaforementioned problems .
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
The main object of the present invention is toprovide a recovery net that can fully cover a corpse tofacilitate recovery.
A recovery net comprises a net, a connecting rope,a floating unit, a ballast and two pulling ropes. The nethas an upper edge, a lower edge and a surface. Theconnecting rope and the floating unit are mounted on the upper edge of the net. The ballast and the pulling ropes aremounted on the lower edge of the net. The floating unit provides buoyancy, the ballast sinks the net so the netfloats vertically. Recoverers float the net near a corpse and pull the pulling ropes to fully cover the corpse.Therefore the corpse can be recovered in its entirety andrecovery is more efficient.
Other objectives, advantages and novel features ofthe invention will become more apparent from the followingdetailed description when taken in conjunction with theaccompanying drawings .
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS

Fig. 8 is a front view of another embodiment of the recovery net in accordance with the present invention; and
Fig. 9 is a partially enlarged side view of the recovery net in Fig. 8; showing a floating unit inflatable.
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS
With reference to Figs. 1 and 2, a recovery net inaccordance with the present invention comprises a net 10, aconnecting rope 20, a floating unit, a rod 40, a ballast 50,two pulling ropes 60 and two tightening ropes 70.
The net 10 has an upper edge, a lower edge, asurface and two sides. The sides of the net 10 may berespectively sewed to encircle two elongated holes 11 or thenet 10A may have multiple rings 11A mounted on two sides ofthe net 10A as shown in Fig. 8.
The connecting rope 20 is bound on the upper edgeof the net 10, may be connected to the net 10 by sewing andhas two ends respectively protruding from the sides of thenet 10.
The floating unit provides buoyancy, is mounted onthe upper edge of the net 10 and is connected to theconnecting rope 20. The floating unit may comprise multiplefloat balls 30 or the floating unit may be a long inflatablebody 30A as shown in Fig. 8. The long inflatable body 30A isinflated quickly to provide buoyancy and brace the net 10Ain recovery work on water as shown in Fig. 9.
The rod 40 is mounted on the net 10 near thefloating unit. The rod 40 braces the net 10 and prevents thenet 10 from tangling.
The ballast 50 is bound on the lower edge of thenet 10 and may be connected to the net 10 by sewing. Theballast 50 provides sinking force less than the buoyancy ofthe floating unit 50. The ballast 50 may be a lead ropemounted parallel to the rod 40 or mounted parallel to thefloating unit as shown in Fig. 8.
The pulling ropes 60 are respectively connected tothe ballast 50 and are mounted respectively near the sidesof the net 10. Each pulling rope 60 has a holding end far away from the heavy unit 50.
The tightening ropes 70 may be respectivelymounted through the elongated holes il of the net 10 or thetightening ropes 70A may be mounted through the rings 11A ofthe net 10A as shown in Fig. 8. Each tightening rope 70 hastwo ends. One end of each tightening rope 70 is connected tothe connecting rope 20. The other end of each tighteningrope 70 protrudes out of the corresponding elongated hole 11of the net 10.
With reference to Fig. 4, in recovery work onwater, such as sea, river or lake, the recoverers 81 in arescue boat 80 put the net 10 into the water and alignbetween a corpse 90 between the net 10 and the rescue boat80. The ends of the connecting rope 20, the holding ends ofthe pulling ropes 60 and the ends of the tightening ropes 70protruding from the net 10 are held in the rescue boat 80.Due to the buoyancy of the floating unit and the weight ofthe ballast 50, the lower edge of the net 10 issubstantially perpendicular to a surface of the water whilethe upper edge of the net 10 floats on the water.
With further reference to Figs. 2 and 5, therecoverers 81 pull the pulling ropes 60 to lift the loweredge of the net 10 up so that the corpse 90 is placed on thenet 10.
With further reference to Figs. 3 and 6, therecoverers 81 then pull the tightening ropes 70 to close thesides of the net 10 so that the corpse 90 is surrounded bythe net 10.
With further reference to Fig. 7, the recoverers81 finally pull the connecting rope 20, the pulling ropes 60and the tightening ropes 70 synchronously to pull the net 10with the corpse 90 into the rescue boat 80.
Therefore, the corpse 90 is recovered in its entirety due to being fully covered by the net 10 andrecovery work is more efficient. Besides, the recoverers 81do not have to enter water so the recoverers 81 can work ina safe environment.

Changes may be made in the details,especially in matters of shape, size, and arrangement ofparts within the principles of the invention to the fullextent indicated by the broad general meaning of the termsin which the appended claims are expressed.

Claims (10)

A storage net, comprising: a net with an upper edge, a lower edge and two sides, a fastening cord tied to the upper edge of the net and having two ends protruding from the sides of the net, a floating unit arranged on the upper edge of the net, respectively. net and which has buoyancy, ballast which is connected to the lower edge of the net and which has a weight exerting less force than the buoyancy of the floater unit, and two tension cords which are respectively connected to the ballast and which are arranged respectively near the sides of the net and wherein each drawstring has a holding end that is far away from the ballast.

Storage net according to claim 1, further provided with a rod which is arranged on the net in the vicinity of the drive unit.

A recovery net according to claim 1, wherein the ballast is a lead cord.

A recovery net according to claim 2, wherein the ballast is a lead cord placed parallel to the bar.

A retention net according to any one of claims 1 to 4, wherein the net further has two elongated openings formed on the sides of the net, and the retention net further shows two tensile cords arranged respectively through the elongate openings of the net, each of which has tight draw string two ends one end of each drawstring cord being connected to the fastening cord and the other end of each tightening cord protruding from the corresponding elongated opening of the net.

A storage net according to any one of claims 1 to 4, wherein the floating unit comprises a plurality of floating spheres.

A storage net according to claim 5, wherein the drive unit comprises a plurality of floating balls.

A storage net according to any one of claims 1 to 4, wherein the floating unit is a long inflatable body.

The storage net according to claim 5, wherein the drive unit is a long inflatable body.

The salvage net according to claim 8, wherein the net further comprises a plurality of rings arranged on two sides of the net, and wherein two puller wires are respectively arranged by the rings of the net.
